When someone you love needs more support, knowing what comes next can make all the difference.
The people who once cared for us, raised families, built careers, kept households running, and showed up for others may eventually need help themselves.
Renata helps families understand the situation, organize what comes next, and identify the right kind of support.

Two service pathways
Senior Transition Services
Help getting from the current situation to the next one.
Senior Transition Services is available now. Renata helps families organize transition-related work through the approved STS service catalog.
Developing Residential Care
A residential option Renata is building for families considering what may come next.
Renata is developing a small residential care setting in El Paso.
Renata Home Care LLC is pursuing Texas Health and Human Services Commission assisted living licensure for a small residential care setting. Our planned model is being developed to support residents who need more than light independent living, subject to state approval, inspection, and resident assessment. The residence is not yet open for admission.
Before the move, the support plan, or the checklist, there is a person.
A parent. A spouse. A grandparent. A friend. Someone whose life is much larger than the help they need today.
Practical details matter, but they should not cause us to lose sight of who the work is for.
See the person before the need.
Understand the need before proposing the solution.
See the person.
Do not reduce someone to the service they need.
Understand the need.
Do not prescribe the answer before understanding the problem.
Provide the right support.
Help where help is needed without unnecessarily taking over.
Make the next step easier.
Leave the family with greater clarity about what happens next.
Caring for someone does not always mean doing everything yourself.
Getting additional support does not lessen your place in someone's life. Sometimes it creates room to be their daughter, son, spouse, sibling, grandchild, or friend instead of always being the person managing the next task.
Support should make room for relationships.
You should understand what you are agreeing to.
Families should be able to understand what Renata has agreed to do, what remains their responsibility, what an approved service costs, and what happens next.
Start with the situation.
You do not need to know which Renata path fits before you begin.
